GROVELAND 一 Chief Robert Valentine is pleased to announce that the Groveland Fire Department will be hosting an open house next weekend.
When:
Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where:
Groveland Fire Station Headquarters, 181 Main St.
What:
The Groveland Fire department will be hosting an open house and Fire Prevention Day for residents and community members. The day will include fun activities for all ages.
The open house will feature the Fire Safety House, an interactive inflatable course for kids to participate in safe fire practices. Residents will also be able to participate in
Touch-A-Truck and explore Groveland Fire trucks and other fire vehicles.
The department will also be offering Seniors an opportunity to get their blood pressure checked and will be handing out File of Life informational packets.
Free educational fire safety handouts will be available, including kitchen safety information.
Residents are encouraged to come to the station to learn more about the Groveland Fire Department and meet public safety officials.
