Groveland Fire Rescue offers to the community public education classes to prevent fires before they happen, and to educate the public on what to do if fires occur. Fire Education is an extension of the Fire Prevention Division.

Currently we focuses on two target populations to provide classes and information sessions to; children and the elderly. These two populations of individuals are at a higher risk of making mistakes that could result in fire, and are many times at a disadvantage if a fire does occur, due to mobility issues and a potential for delayed decision making. While the focus is on the above groups of people, education is not limited to them. We will happily educate any person or groups of people who wish to make themselves fire safe.
