Groveland Fire Rescue operates out of two stations in Groveland and South Groveland. These stations are strategically located to provide rapid emergency response to all neighborhoods and businesses in Groveland in the shortest amount of time possible. Each station is equipped with one engine company licensed as non transport BLS license and one squad company to ensure that each section of the town receives immediate response in the event of a fire, accident, or medical emergency. Other apparatus are located between the two stations as required. Monday through Friday (except national holidays) between the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM, central station is staffed by full time Fire Chief and two full time firefighters. All other calls not between 8 AM and 4 PM on weekdays are covered by the call firefighters. Both stations respond together for all reports of structure fires, odors of gas in the building, smoke in the building, and fire alarm activations, regardless of day or time.
