Groveland Fire Rescue operates out of two stations in Groveland and South Groveland. These stations are strategically located to provide rapid emergency response to all neighborhoods and businesses in Groveland in the shortest amount of time possible. Each station is equipped with one engine company and one squad company to ensure that each section of the town receives immediate response in the event of a fire, accident, or medical emergency. Other apparatus are located between the two stations as required. Monday through Friday (except national holidays) between the hours of 7 AM to 3 PM, both stations respond together to all calls regardless of nature, to ensure adequate staffing. All other calls not between 7 AM and 3 PM on weekdays, and on weekends and national holidays, are handled by the individual station depending on which side of town the emergency is on. Both stations respond together for all reports of structure fires, odors of gas in the building, smoke in the building, and fire alarm activations, regardless of day or time.
