GROVELAND 一 Chief Robert Valentine and Groveland Firefighters Association President Dave Evans are pleased to announce that the Groveland Fire Department and the Groveland Firefighters Association will be holding the annual turkey raffle this month.

Friday, Nov. 18 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Central Fire Station, 181 Main St.

WHAT

The Groveland Fire Department, in collaboration with the Groveland Firefighters Association will be raffling off frozen turkeys for residents and community members ahead of Thanksgiving.

The raffle includes 40 frozen turkeys that were generously donated by Fada Issa, owner of Groveland Auto Repair & Sales. Prizes including gift cards, cash prizes and other donations will also be available during the raffle.

Residents and community members are encouraged to purchase tickets and attend the event for an evening of family fun. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Tickets for the turkey raffle are $1 and can be purchased from any Groveland firefighter. Tickets for the cash prize raffle are $10 and can be purchased during the event.

The proceeds raised from the raffle will go directly to the Groveland Firefighter Association for the annual scholarship that is awarded to any student that applies from Pentucket Regional High School or a Whitter Tech student who resides in the Pentucket region.
