GROVELAND — The Groveland Fire Department is pleased to invite the public to attend its annual Turkey Night this Friday.

WHEN:

Friday, Nov. 22 from 7-9 p.m.

WHERE:

Central Fire Station, 181 Main St.

WHAT:

The Groveland Fire Department invites residents to attend the annual Turkey Night, which will feature raffles, prizes and food.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend the Turkey Night event, where dozens of frozen turkeys will be raffled off at 50 cents per ticket. The ticket that matches the number chosen on a spinning wheel for each turkey wins.

Residents will also have the chance to enter a cash raffle, at $10 per ticket, to win prizes of $500, $300 and $100. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Groveland Firefighters Association to assist with offsetting expenses throughout the year.

Everyone that attends the event will also be entered into a free door prize raffle.

“The annual Turkey Night is a wonderful opportunity for our firefighters to get to know and have fun alongside the community, while raising funds to support the Groveland Firefighters Association,” Interim Chief Joseph Santapaola said. “It’s also a great way to get in the Thanksgiving spirit before the holiday officially arrives next week.”

Pizza, hot dogs, snacks and soft drinks will also be available for purchase at the event.
