From 6/1/16 to 6/30/16, the Groveland Fire Department responded to 57 calls for service. The breakdown of calls is as followed:
Hazardous conditions- 4
Public Service- 8
Good Intent- 5
Alarm activations/malfunctions- 7
To put things in perspective, in June 2015, GFD responded to 48 calls for service, representing a significant growth. As we change and improve our services and operational culture, we expect these numbers to continue to climb in the coming years.
